The Series 1100 MEGALUG® Mechanical Joint Restraints effectively and economically restrain Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) to mechanical joints above or below ground, for practically any application including valves, hydrants, and pipe. For use on all classes of ductile iron pipe (PC350 through PC150 and CL56 through CL50) without damage to the pipe or cement linings. It can also be used on steel pipe and cast iron pipe when joining to mechanical appurtenances, see product brochure for more details on these pipes.

The Series 1100TDM Tandem MEGALUG restrain ductile iron pipe to mechanical joint fittings, pipe and appurtenances that require high PSI ratings. It consists of one Series 1100 MEGALUG and one Series 1100 MEGALUG with the MJ lip removed as to sit properly behind the first.

The Series 1100SD is a split MEGALUG designed to restrain existing mechanical joints on valves, fittings, hydrants and other pipeline apperturances for ductile iron pipe.

The Series 15MJG00TD is a split, serrated restraint for Ductile Iron Pipe and AWWA C900 PVC pipe at Ductile Iron Mechanical Joint Fittings. It is composed of a split serrated restraint ring with heat treated Tru-Dual inserts and an MJ Follower Gland. The restraint is installed on the spigot end of the pipe and connects to the MJ Gland and fitting with an array of thrust bolts.

The Restraint Harness consists of one Series 1100 MEGALUG Restraint and one split bell back up ring.

The Series 15PF00TD is a split, serrated restraint for Ductile Iron Pipe and AWWA C900 PVC pipe at Ductile Iron Fittings. It is composed of a split serrated restraint ring with heat treated Tru-Dual inserts. The restraint is installed on the spigot end of the pipe and connects to the fitting with an array of thrust bolts.

The Series 1100HD Split MEGALUG® restraint harness is for existing ductile iron push on pipe bells. It consists of a wedge action split restraint ring on the spigot joined to split bell ring behind the bell.

The Series 1500TD Tru-Dual Restraint is a split serrated restraint for push-on pipe, both ductile iron pipe bells and AWWA C900 PVC pipe bells. It is composed of a split serrated restraint ring that is assembled on the spigot and a split serrated restraint ring that is assembled behind the bell. Both split rings have heat treated Tru-Dual inserts that grip both Ductile Iron Pipe and PVC C900 Pipe.

The Series 1600TD Tru-Dual Restraint is a split serrated restraint for push-on pipe, both ductile iron pipe bells and AWWA C900 PVC pipe bells. It is composed of a split serrated restraint ring that is assembled on the spigot and a split non-serrated restraint ring that is assembled behind the bell. Both split rings have heat treated Tru-Dual inserts that grip both Ductile Iron Pipe and PVC C900 Pipe.

The Series 1100SDB MEGALUG® restraint is for mid span restraint applications. It consists of a wedge action split restraint ring and can be installed mid span of the pipe independant of fittings.

The Series 3800 MEGA-COUPLING is a restrained coupling for similar and dissimilar pipe materials. Nominal Pipe Sizes 4 inch through 12 can be used on: Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP), C900 PVC Pipe, ASTM 2241 PVC (IPS), Carbon Steel Pipe, HDPE Pipe, or a combination thereof. Sizes 14 inch through 36 inch can be used on Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP), C900 PVC Pipe or both and 42 - 54 inch can be used on DIP.

The Series 1100CH restrains existing or new couplings on Ductile Iron Pipe (over-sized restraints available for Pit Cast Iron Pipe). The split MEAGALUG restraints and 'offset' tie bars are made of ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536.
